If you are not in a hurry and enjoy landscapes, taking the train could be a good way of you to go from city to city. It is a reliable transportation, many people in Europe use it everyday. The landscapes are beautiful and in some destinations is worth the ride.

If are not the kind of person that like to sit on a train and do not like long trips, the train might not be a good option. In Europe there are a lot airlines that travel within the community at a very low prices. Some times is even cheaper than the train. If you want to use this airlines we recommend that you buy the tickets with at least a week or two in advance, so you will get better prices.

It is recommended that you learn a little bit of French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, etc. people there really like when you try to speak their language (especially French people).

If you speak Spanish, try to speak it in Italy, they will understand you more than if speak English to them.

They have tour buses that have different routes and they stop on the turistic places. You can get the ticket for one, two or three days. Is very easy you just jump in or out of the bus. They also have a tour guide on the bus in English (most of the times)
